Marian Consecration w/ St. Elizabeth Sodality
Many of our great saints assured us that love of and devotion to Our Blessed Mother is the easiest, surest, and most perfect way to become a saint. The St. Elizabeth Sodality is very happy to begin our preparation for Marian consecration (or reconsecration for some) on February 21 (due to leap year). We’ll be using “33 Days to Morning Glory,” a wonderful guide by Father Michael Gaitley. Daily readings can be done by each participant and there will be an optional discussion/sharing time after the 9 am Saturday Mass. The 33 days will conclude on the feast of the Annunciation after which there will be a consecration Mass to be scheduled. The Sodality would like to invite all parishioners (men and women) to join us for this wonderful journey. To join, just click the button below to be added to the Flocknote group which we will be using to communicate.
Next weekend St. Elizabeth will ask you to prayerfully consider your gift to the 2020 Annual Appeal. This weekend, brochures and frequently asked questions about the Annual Appeal are available in our church and in this e-mail to help inform your giving. You may also visit the Annual Appeal website at appeal.adw.org. The Annual Appeal supports more than 60 ministries and programs that benefit countless women, men, children and families in the Church of Washington, including within our own parish and the local community. As in every year, 100% of your contribution to the Annual Appeal will be designated to the ministries and programs supported by the Appeal. Thank you for your prayerful consideration and generous response.
