St. E’s Grocery Rewards Program
Do you shop at Harris Teeter? Would you like to help our Parish school? If the answer is “yes,” please see the information below on how to register your grocery card. It is so easy, and it costs you nothing! For every VIC card registered, Harris Teeter will donate cash to St. E’s. VIC cards need to be re-registered for this program each school year (August-May).
Steps to linking a Harris Teeter VIC card:
· You can register your VIC card online at https://www.harristeeter.com/together-in-education
· Ask the cashier to link your VIC card to our school code #6298
· Email your last name and VIC card number or phone number that is associated with your VIC card to sainteshsa@gmail.com, and we will register your Harris Teeter card for you.
Thank you for your support in helping our Parish School!
WE NEED VIRTUS TRAINED VOLUNTEERS
Are you a volunteer at St. Elizabeth’s? Would you be willing to become Virtus certified? We need VIRTUS-trained volunteers. And now is the best time to become one, because the ADW training sessions are totally online and St. Elizabeth’s will pay for it! If you are interested and willing to serve, please call the parish office and speak with Colleen or email her at csteele@stelizabethchurchmd.org.
289 Children in Langley Park Receive School Supplies
The school supplies from the joint St. Elizabeth/Our Lady of Mercy collection were distributed to the children of Langley Park at the Catholic Community Center on Sunday, August 29. Thanks to your generous support, 289 happy children received essential grade-appropriate basic school supplies. The 169 uniform items (shirts, slacks, skirts, socks) you donated were a popular bonus for many of the children. As in the past, a small portion of undistributed supplies will be stored at the Catholic Community Center for future use with the remainder given to St. Camillus to supplement their own collection drive. The Catholic Community Center is very thankful for your wonderful support in encouraging a good start to the school year for the local children.
