During the past 3 months, more than 40 NEW client mothers and their families have requested help from the Gabriel Project Cluster of Montgomery County. This is in addition to the over 221 client families already being assisted. Since the Cluster provides ongoing assistance to the whole family, there is a great need for children’s new or gently used clothing. Below is a list of the most current needs. Needed infant items are also identified on the Cluster website. More women volunteers are needed, especially bi-lingual women. The Gabriel Project Cluster of Montgomery County is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that assists low-income pregnant women and their children. During the pandemic and economic crisis, the need for the Gabriel Project’s services has grown tremendously while typical sources of support are greatly reduced. Women of the Old and New Testaments were as flawed and broken as we can be, yet the power of God worked in their lives.
